Everywhere you go, keep your head up and eyes moving. Scan surroundings: front, back, sides and even overhead.
To find a predator: (a) look for potential victims (distracted, clueless) (b) observe who else is watching them.
If your garage connects to the house, install a latch on overhead doors so they cannot be opened when you and your vehicles are “in” for the night or when you’re gone on vacation.
Don't leave notes for friends or contractors on your door. It's an easy way for burglars to know you aren't home.
Never leave outgoing mail, especially checks, in your mailbox.
